How to Download Driving License Online in Mobile
You will need DigiLocker App to Download driving license in your phone. This app is an official government app and is absolutely safe. In Digilocker app, you can save Driving License as well as RC book, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, School Board Mark Sheet, and many other government documents in your phone.
All these documents are digitally signed which are verified and secured from the backend of DigiLocker.
How to Download Driving License from Digilocker
Step-1: First of all Download Digilocker App in your phone. This app is available for free on Playstore for android smartphones. And is available for free on the App Store for iPhone.

Step-2: After the App is installed, now Login to Digilocker App. If you are using this App for the first time then you must register in it.
Step-3: To register in the app, press the Sign Up button on the main screen of the app.
Step-4: Now enter your mobile number and click on Continue button.
Step-5: Now OTP will be received on your phone through SMS. Enter this code in the given box and click on the Continue button.
Step-6: Enter your Username, Password etc. correctly on the next screen and keep it in mind. You will be login to Digilocker App as soon as you click on Continue button.
Step-7: After login, you have to first link your Aadhar Card. Because your identity and all other documents will be shown and verified on the basis of aadhar card data. Tap on the message of link aadhar from the home screen of the app.
Step-8: Enter your Aadhaar Card Number on the next screen and tick Approval consent.
Step-9: Now you will receive Aadhar verification OTP on your Aadhar registered mobile number, enter it in the given box and click on Continue button.
Now your Aadhaar card is linked. Now you can download all the documents present in digilocker.
Step-10: Now select the Issued Document tab from the home screen of the Digilocker app and select the Search icon given at the bottom of the screen. Many options will be shown in front of you.
Step-11: Click on the option of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, All States from the given list to Download Driving License Online and select the option of Driving License from the drop-down menu.
Step-12: Enter your Driving License Number, father/husband’s name correctly on the new screen and tick in front of the consent approval message.
Step-13: Your Driving License will be downloaded as soon as you click on Get Document button and will be saved in Digilocker App.
Now you can see it in the ISSUED tab at any time. You can also see the list of all other downloaded documents on this screen.
