How To Use mAadhaar App
If you want to know what can be done through m-Aadhaar app, then read above once. To take full advantage of this application, you have to link your Aadhar card with Aadhar App by logging in.
After logging in with your Aadhaar number, you will be able to avail the exclusive service by going to the “My Aadhaar” section. Keep in mind, during login, you will be asked for your Aadhar number and OTP. Then, an option will come to set the 4-digit mAadhaar password. To know the complete process step by step, read below:
How to setup mAadhaar account
Step 1: First of all, download and install mAadhaar app on your smartphone. (App download link is given below)
Step 2: Open the app and click on Skip button. If you want, you can also swipe right side until the option of Getting Started comes.
Step 3: Select the option “I Consent” and proceed with the Continue option.maadhar-app-enter-mobile-number
Step 4: Now, enter your mobile number (any one which is active) and click on “Next” button.
Step 5: Enter the 6 digit OTP and click “Submit”.
Step 6: Now, the homepage of mAadhaar app will open. Here you have to click on “Register My Aadhaar”.maadhaar-app-register-my-aadhar-option
Step 7: Set a 4-digit password, enter your Aadhaar number and click on “Next”.
Step 8: Lastly, fill the OTP and click on “Verify” option. (Keep in mind: This time OTP will be sent to your Aadhar card registered mobile)
Step 8: Congratulations, your mAadhaar account has been setup and now you will be able to use it to the fullest.
When, you will go to the “My Aadhaar” section, a 4 digit password will be asked. In case, you have forgotten the m-Aadhaar password, then “Forgot PIN?” Click on it and click on “Remove Profile” button. Now, re-add your Aadhar card in mAadhaar and set a new PIN.maadhar-app-password-reset

Note: It is not necessary to register or add your Aadhar in mAadhaar Application if you want to use General Services only. To avail other services like Change of Address of Aadhar Card from mAadhaar App, TOTP Generation, Aadhar Card Lock, Aadhar Biometric Lock/Unlock, SMS Services etc., Aadhar has to be registered.
